Coyote Station

Two miles south of Beulah, ND. Lignite-fired electric generating station.

Operated by Otter Tail Power Company, Fergus Falls, MN (jointly owned with: Montana-Dakota Utilities Co., Bismarck, ND; Northern Municipal Power Agency (aka Minnkota Power Cooperative Inc), Thief River Falls, MN; Northwestern Public Service Company, Huron, SD).

One unit rated at 414,000 kilowatts. Operational in 1981.

Uses coal from the Beulah Mine.
