Taconite Harbor Energy Center

Located in Schroeder, MN.

Low-sulfur, sub-bituminous coal generating station.

Operated by Minnesota Power, Duluth, MN.

Three units, each rated at 75 megawatts, were acquired from LTV in October 2001.

Units 1 and 2 operational in 1957. Unit 3 operational in 1967.
